I arrived in Hanoi at 1:30 am. I was nervous about being alone in a strange city in the middle of the night. But the driver was very enthusiastic in helping me contact a taxi and carefully instructed the taxi driver. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the young taxi driver whose name I did not have time to ask for the name of the Sao Thu Do company. The passenger who arrived at the Thang Long City urban area in Dai Mo Nam Tu Liem at midnight that night had a very good impression of him.

The booking process was smooth. There apparently weren't enough reservations for my bus, so I was assigned to a different one. It was a bit confusing at first because my seat number changed – but ultimately it was an upgrade. We left Hanoi at 10 pm, made two stops, and arrived in Sapa at 5 am.
