The car was adequate; we rode the same comfortable bus the entire way. The only thing I'd say is "aww" is that the air conditioning is on very high, even with the individual vents closed. This is the case almost everywhere in Asia. So, bring some warm clothing or something to cover yourself with.

I left my camera on the seat on the bus from Yen Tu to Hanoi. I only realized it three hours after getting off the bus and called the driver in a panic. The driver for this trip was very nice!

I waited at the pick-up point indicated in the email, but it was a different location. The operator went out of his way to pick me up on foot. I was really touched by this action and they remained very friendly afterwards. I think this is a very reliable bus operator.
