I was getting pretty frustrated why the driver is not coming for my return to Hanoi, only to be told that I actually booked the next day by mistake. The office sent a driver in an hour and only paid the upgrade to limousine, as that was the scheduled mini van. Moral of the story - double check before booking, preferably if you are not groggy.

There was a bit of nudge via text message to get me to arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time, but otherwise everything went well. The driver even dropped me off at my hotel. Of course, the driver drives like a maniac, especially overtaking without visibility, but hey, that's Vietnam for you.

The driver was great. He arrived on time, we arrived earlier than expected, and he dropped us off directly at our hotel. He speaks English as an added bonus.

I have to say that bus services in Vietnam are of a very high standard. The app shows you where the bus is, when it will arrive, and even exactly where you should stand. We felt safe with the driver; he made regular stops and kept asking us if we needed anything. We were very satisfied. We highly recommend this transportation service.
