The bus service was great. The pick-up was on time, and I received a text and email the night before with the bus plate number and driver’s contact. The driver found me at the pick-up point, confirmed my details, and provided clear instructions. The ride was smooth, and I was dropped off at my hostel.

The road from Hanoi to Mai Chau had many mountain passes and curves, but the driver drove very calmly and seemed to be very familiar with the route. I didn't get carsick at all. I have nothing negative to say about the bus company itself. The bus wasn’t new, but it was comfortable enough. We arrived on time and were picked up directly from our hotel. I had pre-selected our seats online, and those exact seats were available when we boarded — everything was organized and as expected, no surprises. What I didn’t enjoy was the road itself — winding, busy, and quite exhausting. The driver often had to overtake other vehicles, sometimes in ways that didn’t feel entirely safe. To be fair, I think this was more about the road than the driver. This stretch is genuinely challenging, stressful, and requires a lot of focus. Just something to be prepared for.

The trip was very enjoyable and the driver drove very smoothly, I didn't get carsick even though we were on a mountain pass!!! Although the departure time was late for the Western passengers, the bus company was very attentive and asked about the passengers and hoped for their understanding - I had a very good impression!
